A tough week

I thought for a long time before I posted this. I wasn't sure I was going to do it. Don't freak out.

WARNING: Gratuitous boob shot.

There is no need for you to wait and wait for an u/s! My goodness, they can reschedule some fluffy bunny's pg scan to see junior wave from in utero to get you in.

I know that hospital. The radiology department is a little lazy.

Call and make an unholy stink about it. Call the manager. Cry if you have to.

If that doesn't work, threaten them with me. They're still scared of me there.

(((((Megan)))))Waiting for a hip is one thing. Waiting for a diagnosis pisses me off to no end. Not necessary or acceptable.

As for morals --it's immoral for them to blow you off and make you suffer. It's not immoral for you to demand adequate and timely care.

I'll call you tomorrow.

Cindy is absolutely right on this one. Your Dr. does not control your right to have the health care you want. If you want to go to Alberta and have your test that's what you need to do. Do whatever it takes but don't let them push you around on this. This is the kind of crap my Mom went through and it's crazy. Hang in there and you're in my thoughts.

Megan,

Call me. Please. I can commiserate with you on the Judas Boob.

Call me.

Hang in there, Megan. We're all with you on this one. I'm appalled at this. Sure, there may have been some bureaucratic mix up at the beginning, but you've brought it to their attention over and over and over again.

You're in my thoughts and prayers, my friend.

For a test dealing with your LIFE ?!?!?

What kinda messed up radiology department they got there? Do they really have THAT few ultrasound machines?
