We spent the day at Universal Studios and were pretty tired by evening. So we went to the neighbourhood pub for supper.
It was two-for-one night. If you don't drink the second beer, it just goes to waste. And we couldn't have that, now could we?

Yes, this photo essay is missing one crucial element: Mom getting tipsier and tipsier and "suggesting" that you should get up and sing. And that is the ONLY thing that is missing.
I have photos of her making this suggestion, but I am kind enough to NOT post them on the Internet.
There was definitely coaxing by a spouse who had several margaritas. Photographic evidence can be seen on my Facebook page.

Your father did a great job at the karaoke. Come on, admit it.
He was excellent, and readers should not assume otherwise. My dad used to make a good part of his living as a musician and has been playing stringed instruments for the past 35 years.
