We have all these "images" of things which are supposed to either make us happy or to be happiness its self. The tragedy is that most of them don't have anything to do with actual happiness.

That said, I don't want to give the impression that I know any more about what true happiness is than anyone else. Aristotle suggested that true happiness consisted of being good and doing good, and maybe he is right.Torqhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02187892279807810160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35316145.post-25220867473907048532008-08-19T22:55:00.000-07:002008-08-19T22:55:00.000-07:00Write a book so I can be where you are!Write a book so I can be where you are!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35316145.post-61128168467965206032008-08-19T22:50:00.000-07:002008-08-19T22:50:00.000-07:00I love you, too.You will get through this.I love you, too.

You will get through this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35316145.post-61609391136604952122008-08-19T22:42:00.000-07:002008-08-19T22:42:00.000-07:00Love you, Meg.StaceLove you, Meg.
StaceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35316145.post-57788276006178605502008-08-19T21:48:00.000-07:002008-08-19T21:48:00.000-07:00I think the key to not being unhappy is to quit tr...I think the key to not being unhappy is to quit trying or wanting or expecting to be happy. Getting through crappy times into better times isn't gonna make you happy - believe me, I've done it a few times. Like Abraham Lincoln said, most people are about as happy as they make up their mind to be. Just make up your mind to be happy with what you have, even if that includes feeling melancholy at times.Mongoosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13545512692510569390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35316145.post-50125504907375453252008-08-19T20:21:00.000-07:002008-08-19T20:21:00.000-07:00It's just called "adulthood," isn't it?
